Las Tres (proceso de trabajo) // Three (work process)

¿Cómo hace Sandra este tipo de ilustraciones? Te preguntarás. Bueno, probablemente no te lo preguntes, pero he pensado que, como a mí me gusta ver el proceso que siguen otros coleguitas, estaría bien compartir con el mundo mi manera de llegar a las ilustraciones que vengo haciendo últimamente.


How does Sandra make this kind of illustration? You wonder. Well, maybe you don't wonder, but I thought that, as I love seeing the process my colleagues follow, it would be nice to share with the world the way I get to the illustrations I've been producing lately.

Primero, dibujo la ilustración en mi libreta. La paso a tinta (o no) y la escaneo. Una vez escaneada, la importo en Adobe Illustrator y la bloqueo para que no se mueva.

First, I draw the illustration in my sketchbook. I ink it (or not) and scan it. Once scanned, I import it to Adobe Illustrator and block it, so that it doesn't move.

La calco sólo con línea de contorno, separando bien las capas.

I trace it just with the contour line, properly organizing the layers.

Le doy color a las formas y las retoco si es necesario.

I colour the shapes and retouch them if necessary.

Añado luces y sombras y sigo arreglando.

I add lights and shadows and keep fixing it.

La exporto a PSD y le doy los retoques finales en Adobe Photoshop (texturas, correcciones, fondo, etc.)

I export it into PSD and give it the final touches with Adobe Photoshop (textures, corrections, background, etc.)

Et voilà! Aquí la tenemos, lista para salir de la impresora.

Et voilà! Here we have it, ready to come out of the printer.
